Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg speaks out after global shutdown

Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook which is the owner of WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram came out to issue an apology after the global shut down of the four apps simultaneously.

Facebook together with it’s three other apps went down yesterday 4th October 2021 for several hours.

Many conspiracies started flying in about how the app had been hacked and confidential information was at stake.

The company however through their Facebook page acknowledged the glitch and said they were working upon it to have it rectified.

After the app regained consciousness, Zuckerberg took to his Facebook page to issue a short apology to the affected users.

“Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger are coming back online now. Sorry for the disruption- I know how much you rely on our services to stay connected with the people you care about,” he posted on his page.

This wasn’t the first time the apps are shutting down due to to what is usually referred to as technical glitches.

This usually leaves people in the dim worried about their private information.

The giant tech company has however always come out to assure it’s users that their information is secure.
