Manchester United have on Thursday 15th July unveiled a multi-million shirt sponsorship deal with
German tech brand TeamViewer.
The deal worth £235million is a record-breaking one and succeeds soon to expire Chevrolet deal which has been in existence for the last five years.
The kit was made by Adidas, Manchester United’s kits manufacturers since 1980s and they (Adidas), say it creates a ‘modern and classic’ look.
New Manchester United shirt sponsor TeamViewer is a Germany Company dealing in remote control and Remote access softwares allowing the maintenance of Computers and other related devices.
For the first time in Manchester United’s history, the jersey will bear the words ‘Red Devils’ at the behind. It will also contain ‘youth, courage success’ printed on the back of the neck inside the shirt.
The is the first lucrative sponsorship deal during the pandemic when clubs are struggling financially. This makes TeamViewer agreement the biggest shirt-only deal in the Premier League.
