Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club – KCCA FC has unveiled the newly established Television Channel See TV as the new shirt sponsors.
The deal was announced today on November 8, 2021 at a Press Conference at Onomo Hotel in Kampala.
See TV replaces the digital satellite television service provider Startimes who have been the main shirt sponsors of KCCA FC since 2015.
“Today is a historical moment for our club KCCA FC. We are very excited to have this partnership with SEE TV. It is in line with our strategic plan,” Kampala Capital City Authority Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who is also the Club patron said at the event.
Established in 1963 as Kampala City Council Football Club (KCC FC), KCCA is one of the oldest football clubs that are still active in Uganda’s football league system. The team has played continuously in the top tier league, Uganda Premier League since 1974 having taken 13 league trophies 10 Uganda Cups and 2 CECAFA Club cups which makes sponsorship of KCCA a worthy deal in giving the company mirage.
See TV will be sponsors of the club for the next 3 years with the contract signed confirming SEE TV as shirt sponsors from 2021-2024.
“As a brand, we are committed to supporting local sports. This relationship with KCCA FC is our first step in the right direction… it is a commitment to connecting fans to the game and the team they love.” See TV a newly established Television Channel which started airing in August 2021 said in a statement.
On the same event, KCCA FC announced Mafro Sports as the official kit suppliers in a partnership deal that will continue till 2024.
“We welcome Mafro Sports as our new official kit supplier and expect them to be an incredible partner of the club. We look forward to working with them to serve players and supporters with Mafro & KCCA FC innovation and designs.” Anisha Shahir Muhoozi the club’s CEO said.
