Match Day Six of the English Premier League was amazing as both Chelsea and Manchester United lost their first match since the start of season but Arsenal was fantastic winning a fourth match in a row in all competitions when they deservedly beat follow Londoners, Tottenham Hotspurs FC.
It all started on Saturday when Ronaldo’s Manchester United lost 1:0 to to Aston Villa, thanks to a goal from Kortney Hause that left Man U standing 4th with 13 points.
In another kick off match of the premier league on day, Chelsea fell to their second goal of the season that denied them all the three points. Manchester City controlled the whole match and thus won through a brilliant strike from Gabriel Jesus in the 53rd minute. City currently stand second on 13 points, 1 less of leaders Liverpool FC. Liverpool drew 3:3 away toBrentford Community stadium Pinnock (27′minutes), Janelt (63′minutes), Wissa (82′minutes) scored for the home side wherea Jota (31′minutes), Salah (54′minutes) and Jones (67′minutes) ensured The Reds stay at the top with scoere.
It got worse the next day when Manchester United’s nemesis Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur 3:1 in a a match completely dominated by the Gunners. Thanks to goals Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka with Son Heung Min pulling one for the visitors. The win lifted Arsenal from 13 to 10th on the table and currently ahead of Spurs in 11th.
In La Liga, Barcelona ended a three match winless run in all competitions after outmaneuvering Levante with a 3:0 score. Memphis Depay, Luuke de Jong and Ansu Fati won it for the on-Pressure Dutch tactician, Ronald Koeman. The win lifted the Blaugrana to to sixth on 12 points.
On Saturday, Real Madrid drew goalless with Villarreal and currently stand at the top of the table with 17 points whereas Atletico Madrid lost 1:0 to Deportivo Alaves.
In Germany Bundesliga, action begun on Friday with the league’s last nine season champions Bayer winning 3:1 away to Greuther Furth whereas Dortmund lost 1:0 to Monchengladbach the following day with RB Leipzig walloping Hertha Berlin 6:0.
In France, Messi still didn’t play as his PSG won 2:0 against Montpellier. PSG still lead Ligi 1 with maximum points (24) from 8 matches.
In Uganda, Vipers SC made history when they baptised BUL FC with fire in a nine goal thriller Uganda Cup final at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
