The Catalan based club FC Barcelona has announced Sergio Aguero will be their next addition to the team at the start of July.
Aguero said bye to Manchester City FC at their champions league match lost to Chelsea on Saturday 29th May, 2021.
Aguero spent ten years at the Manchester club, guiding them to 15 trophies including 5 premier league titles though he will regret losing the Champions league final to Chelsea on his last day at Manchester City.
Aguero is City’s all-time leading goal scorer with 260 goals in 390 games and at his new place to be, Barca, he’ll have an €86M buy out clause.
At Barcelona, he will fill the void left by Luis Suarez who was sold to rival side and current La Liga champions Atletico Madrid at only €5.2M. That left Barcelona with no experienced prolific striker and the cost to that was exiting the Champions league at last 16 stage though they managed to win the Copa Del Rey.
