Presidential aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has replied to Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s twitter threats where the latter dared the former to bring on war and see what the government will do to him.
In a tweet posted by Muhoozi yesterday afternoon, Muhoozi said that the he warned Bobi Wine some time back that the government is stronger than he thinks and therefore he should never think that he can intimidate them.
“I told you my young brother, that you can NEVER intimidate us. We are much stronger than you can ever imagine to be. If you want to fight we will simply defeat you. We want peace! But if you attempt to fight us then bring it on!” Muhoozi’s tweet read.
Bobi Wine in a reply tweet assured the first son that only cowards and people who are weak are proud of violence adding that his party and supporters are in for peace not violence. Bobi Wine assured Muhoozi that his father Museveni can’t win in a free and fair election and that’s why they resort to violence and intimidation.
“Only cowards & weak men boast of violence! You should be ashamed. Ours is a non-violent call for action. You know that in a free & fair election, your father the old tyrant, would be no more” Bobi Wine said in a boomerang post.
Lt General Muhoozi who is also a presidential advisor on security has been issuing warnings to the opposition reminding them that his father a ‘muchwezi’ can’t be defeated by anyone. Muhoozi is rumored to be being nurtured by his father to succeed him as the president of Uganda when his father retires.
The newly nominated candidate Bobi Wine however said that Uganda belongs to all Ugandans not to a family of two people, promising that they will soon be history in the country.
“This country belongs to Ugandans, not you and your father. You will soon understand that.” Bobi Wine concluded.
