Nigerian artists Omah Ley & Tems perform to crowds at Speke Resort Munyonyo

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 regulations that have seen artists stop performances in nUganda since March 2020, Nigerian Artists Omah Ley and Tems hold a successful concert and perform to crowds at a concert organized at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

The concert was organized on Saturday, December 12th dubbed the The Big Brunch (Africabeats edition). Entrance was 50,000 which hundreds of Ugandans paid to see the trending artists on the continent perform.

The concert was full of revelers most of whom were having no masks, squeezing each other with no social distancing or any other Standard Operating Procedure being followed. The event however despite receiving publicity was not stopped by the authorities.

Bebe Cool had promised to everything it takes to stop this concert saying that Ugandan artists should not be denied from performing yet Nigerian artists are allowed to perform.

“I have reliable information that there will be a concert in  Uganda by 2 Nigerian Artists in Uganda ….Let me hope this is a dream am in coz if its real, I will make every effort to fail this event” Bebe Cool said in a post that he would later delete.”

His vow would however not yield since the concert happened and was successful till the end.

Omah Lay in popular with his songs like Infinity, Lo Lo, Damn and Bad Influence while Tems is popular in Uganda with songs like Try Me and Damages.
