The Ministry of Education and Sports has revealed that the results for the 2020 UCE examinations will be released on the 30th of July 2021 which will be Friday.
The announcement was made through the Ministry’s Twitter handle.
This ceremony is expected to be a scientific one and will take place at State House Nakaseero beginning at 12 noon.
“The Scientific function will take place at State House Nakasero, starting at 12:00 Noon. It will be broadcast live on all National Radio & TV stations, and streamed live on UNEB’s social media channels.” The ministry informed.
The Minister of Education and Sports Janet Kataaha Museveni also took to her Twitter handle to announce that she would release the results on the Ministry’s designated date.
“Good morning fellow Ugandans.
I will release the 2020 UCE results this Friday, the 30th of July, 2021 at 12pm and it will be live on all major TV and radio stations. Please tune in.” Mrs Museveni tweeted.
The UCE results will be announced two weeks after the PLE results were announced.
These examinations were done amidst the hard conditions brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic after learner’s had been at home for almost a year without schooling.
With academic institutions still closed pending the presidential directive, it’s not known when these learner’s will be joining their next level of education.
