The Kisoro Grade II magistrate Fred Gidudu on Tuesday sentenced two people to 30 months in prison for engaging in a sexual act in public.
The two are known as Hafashimana Paskali 29 a resident of Kisoro and Muhaweimana Mukamulenzi Colodina a resident of Rwanda.
The prosecutor, Kisoro Resident State Attorney Peter Muhindo told the court that the two were filmed on November 02 2021 at around 4:00 PM engaging in public sex near Kisoro Central Pharmacy centrally to section 148 of the penal code act.
The two pleaded guilty to the offenses and asked for forgiveness.
They were sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison.
