According to the minister of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine the vaccination will no longer be held at the headquarters with effect from 31/05/20221 but instead at Kololo and other vaccination centres

It should be noted that the minister’s move has followed president Museveni’s Saturday address where he clarified that vaccination was the major way to go if Uganda was to defeat the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In his Address on Saturday, President Museveni warned Ugandans of ignoring government advice of preventing the spread of the virus. ‘Uganda has confirmed four new variants from South Africa, Nigeria, UK and India which he said are more deadly than the original one from China’ he said.
“I am here to tell you that he who is not advisable was told clay doesn’t make canoes but he didn’t listen. When we had controlled the pandemic but all the measures were ignored by those who are not advisable,” Museveni added.
