Ministry of Health and KCCA have worked together to set up vaccination centers where locked down Ugandans will walk and receive their dose of Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
This second phase of vaccination is meant for people who received a single dose to receive their second shot and will run from 28th June to 2nd July 2021.
The vaccination process will see 175,200 COVID-19 doses that were donated by France, administered in different parts of the country starting with Kampala.
With public and private transport being banned according to Presidential directives, several vaccination centers have been put up across 5 divisions that make up Kampala Capital City Authority to help bring vaccines to a walkable distance.
