Miss Uganda’s Cries Out For Visa To Represent In The Miss World Pageant

The current Miss Uganda Elizabeth Bagaya has come out to plead with the necessary authorities to help her clinch a Visa if she’s to represent Uganda in the already ongoing Miss World beauty pageant in Puerto Rico.

Bagaya took to her Instagram page to reveal take it’s her last resort as all the necessary avenues have failed to materialise into anything.

She went ahead to request the necessary persons and Institutions to help her process this Visa as soon as possible so that she’s in time for the pageant.

“Good morning world, while Miss World is going on Puerto Rico, I’m still in Uganda unable to travel because Puerto Rico is a US territory and I need a US Visa.

I have been trying through other avenues but in vain to attain a Visa and am left with Instagram as my last resort.”

“I humbly request @usmissionuganda to expedite my Visa so that I can go and represent my country Uganda in the 70th Miss World.

I urge my family and friends to please tag, repost and share my plea,” Bagaya posted on her Instagram page.

Bagaya who came in second place in the 2019 Miss Uganda contest replaced Oliver Nakakande the eventual winner of the 2019 beauty pageant.

The miss Uganda 2020 and 2021 edition were not organised due to the COVID 19 pandemic that put all activities on a standstill.

Bagaya assumed take over from Nakakande whose tenure expired in April as she also went back to complete her studies.
