NBS After 5 presenter MC Kats has come out to reveal why he included his ex and baby mama Fille Mutoni and his alleged girlfriend on the list of performers for his King of the Mic show.
Kats’King of the mic 4th edition is set to take place on 4th December and will be virtual broadcast live on NBS and Sanyuka TV between 4-7pm.
Kats while speaking about this show said that he included Fille because the singer was greatly stigmatized when he announced that he was HIV positive.
For Caroline Marcah, Kats said that she has always been there for him.
Kats said that the Bukedde TV presenter came into his life at a time he was battling depression and comforted him through it.
“My own family said that I was cursed and some even gave up on me. They said that I must have done something wrong and I was being punished for it. I was so depressed that I reached to a point of declining to go and pick my meds from Mulago hospital. But my counselor made sure to always deliver them. I also want to thank Caroline Marcah because she got me at a point when I was at my lowest. I also lined up Fille to perform at the show because she faced a lot of stigma when this whole saga broke out,” Kats said.
Kats’ King of the mic is set to run under the theme of fighting against stigma and discrimination among HIV patients.
Kats also said that he reached to a point of giving up and wondering why he was working hard yet he would be dying soon.
However the support system he had around and his kids kept him going.
