Joshua Baraka Reveals How Rema Namakula Turned Him Down For A Collaboration

Fast rising singer Joshua Baraka has revealed that songstress Rema Namakula turned him down for a collaboration. Apparently he had written a song for the Clear singer after someone told him of an opportunity to work with her.

After writing the song and submitting it to her, she never responded. He the decided to sing it for himself. It was here that Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi jumped onto it.

The Jangu singer was apparently a fan of his Nana song. This made their linkup much easier. Seems like Rema not responding was a blessing in disguise.

The song is currently one of the biggest in the country as it has amassed lots of views on online platforms.

“Initially I had written the song for Rema Namakula but she didn’t get back to me. I decided to sing the song myself and i linked up with Winnie Nwagi. She was a big fan of my song and this made things easier,” said the singer.

Joshua Baraka also denied dating gospel singer Baby Gloria. Rumors had started to suggest that the two are dating but the Nana singer put them to rest.

He said that he’s contented in a relationship he’s in. Besides, he and Baby Gloria aren’t that much of tight friends.

“I’m in a relationship and happily contented. Me and Baby Gloria are just regular friends. There is nothing between us because we aren’t even that much of friends.”
