Singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has come out to support the UCC’s decision of pushing gossip shows from prime airing time to 10pm.
Bebe Cool said that these gossip shows had destroyed the music industry with derogatory statements.
He added that these shows could have worked well in their days when the industry was based on controversies.
However with the internet, information is always there and most of these gossip shows are always trading false news.
“I think the controversial shows are destroying the entertainment industry because the times have changed. The controversy could have worked in our times, but today it doesn’t because people can easily get the information,” Bebe Cool further said.
The Katono singer also talked about the Omah Lay and Tems incident when they were arrested in Uganda.
Bebe Cool was blamed for having instigated their arrest although he denied it.
In fact he worked tooth and nail to see them released.
Bebe Cool said that he was however shocked after the cold response he got when he arrived at the Nigerian embassy.
The Gagamel boss revealed that he was even slapped during the scuffle that went down there.
