Yesterday Victoria University cleared the air about the allegations of ambassadorial appointment for the socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa well known as Bad Black
Bad Black on Monday took to her social media page with photos boasting that she had been appointed as the Victoria university brand ambassador.
However Bad Black insisted despite a released on Tuesday by the university clearing the air about the allegations of ambassadorial appointment to the socialite.
“Ms.Shanitah Namuyimbwa came to Victoria University with an overwhelming desire to better herself and become a decent contributing member of society and a role model to her children. Society knows well her inequities, she understands them as well and is remorseful about it. That’s why she is trying her best to walk away from her past,” the statement reads.
Bad Black was talking to NBS TV in an interview when she insisted of being a brand ambassador for Victoria University.
“Brand Ambassador Victoria University please, put it on….” Bad Black interrupted the interviewer who had skipped the title while introducing her.
Black thanked Victoria University for the “privilege” by appointing her brand ambassador and offering scholarships to her and her “children”.
“It is a privilege and I will not saga saga it, I mean to mess it,” she said.
According to her, the appointment was on merit as she does not need any academic qualifications to prove her capability to market the university.
